The 20KW Kubota Marine Diesel Generator is a compact marine power solution designed to provide dependable electrical power aboard marine vessels. Rated at 20 kW / 24 kVA prime power at 60 Hz, the generator combines a Kubota diesel engine with a brushless alternator and SmartGen controls in a weatherproof enclosure.

Power is supplied by the Kubota V2003-T-E2BG, a vertical, water-cooled, 4-cylinder diesel engine. The engine is turbocharged and operates at 1800 RPM, with a mechanical all-speed governor. Kubota’s engine specification further identifies it as a four-cycle diesel engine with a 23.0:1 compression ratio.

The generator is paired with a YP200 self-excited, brushless alternator featuring AVR voltage regulation, Class H insulation, IP23 protection, and a 0.8 power factor.

A SmartGen 4010 controller provides generator control and monitoring. The supplied SmartGen documentation specifies compatibility with 50/60 Hz alternator frequencies along with programmable relay outputs and generator sensing capabilities.
