The 500KW Cummins Propane Generator (Prime) provides a high-capacity propane-fueled power solution for commercial, industrial, and other demanding prime power applications. Rated at 500 kW / 625 kVA Prime at 60 Hz, the generator combines a Cummins engine, Stamford alternator, DEIF controls, and a silent weatherproof enclosure in an integrated generator package.

At the heart of the generator is the Cummins K38N-G5PS, a 38-liter, 12-cylinder engine operating at 1800 RPM. The engine is turbocharged and air-to-air intercooled, radiator cooled, and equipped with an electronic governor.

Electrical power is produced by the Stamford S5L1D-D41 alternator, featuring a self-excited, brushless design, Class H insulation, AVR voltage regulation, 0.8 power factor, and IP23 protection. Generator operation and system management are handled by the DEIF AGC 150 controller.

For propane operation, the packet specifies LPG-Propane (>85% C3H8) with HD5 propane listed as the recommended specification. The gas train operates within a 2–7 PSI fuel pressure range and incorporates a regulator and Venturi valve gas carburetor.

The generator also includes a 300KG vaporizer skid, UL main breaker and wiring, UL battery charger, UL coolant heater, UL battery disconnect switch, base entry for permanent connection, and 2-wire remote start.

The 500KW Cummins Propane Generator is priced at $260,000 without the mixer, with a mixer-equipped configuration available for $290,000.
