90 kW / 288 kWh Battery Energy Storage System (Rental/Construction Type)
The 90kW/288kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is a high-capacity energy storage solution designed for rental and construction applications. The system combines 289.3 kWh of nominal LFP (LiFePO₄) battery capacity with Victron power electronics to provide stored energy for temporary, mobile, and hybrid power applications. The battery system features integrated heating and a listed 10+ year design life.
The inverter system consists of six Victron Quattro 15 kVA inverters, providing a combined 90 kVA inverter capacity and 480 VAC, 3-phase output. System operation and monitoring are supported by a Victron Touch 70 display, 4G cellular and Wi-Fi-compatible connectivity, and smartphone monitoring and control.
Designed for rental and construction environments, the BESS incorporates heavy-duty 400A Cam-Lock connections for PowerAssist input, charging input, and 480V 3-phase output. Its busbar is compatible with both shore power and generator power, allowing the battery system to integrate with additional power sources in hybrid configurations.
At a 72 kW rated load, the system provides an approximate runtime of 3.6 hours. The unit incorporates two 1500W heating and cooling units, a heavy-duty hot-dip galvanized steel skid, integrated forklift pockets, and internal and external anti-corrosion powder coating for demanding worksite environments.
For projects incorporating renewable energy, optional solar integration is available. The spec sheet lists an optional solar MPPT controller package featuring four 100A Victron MPPT controllers for an additional $1,765.
