45 kW / 145 kWh Battery Energy Storage System (Rental/Construction Type)

The 45kW/145kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is a heavy-duty energy storage solution designed for rental and construction applications. The system combines 144.6 kWh of nominal LFP (LiFePO₄) battery capacity with a Victron inverter system to provide dependable stored power for temporary, mobile, and hybrid power applications. The battery system features integrated heating and a listed design life of 10+ years.

The inverter system consists of three Victron Quattro 15 kVA inverters, providing 45 kVA total inverter capacity and 480 VAC, 3-phase output. The system is equipped with a Victron Touch 70 display, 4G cellular and Wi-Fi-compatible connectivity, and smartphone monitoring and control for convenient system management.

Designed with rental and construction use in mind, the BESS features heavy-duty 400A Cam-Lock connections for PowerAssist input, charging input, and 480V 3-phase output. Its busbar is compatible with both shore power and generator power, allowing the battery system to be incorporated into hybrid power configurations.

At a 36 kW rated load, the system provides an approximate runtime of 3.6 hours. Integrated climate control includes a 1500W heating and cooling unit, while the heavy-duty hot-dip galvanized steel skid, integrated forklift pockets, and internal/external anti-corrosion powder coating support transportation and demanding worksite use.

For applications incorporating renewable energy, optional solar integration is available. The spec sheet lists an optional solar MPPT controller package with two 100A Victron MPPT controllers for an additional $880.
